Every vendor listed on MMODude goes through the same evaluation before it earns a spot on a game page or a review. This page explains exactly what that evaluation involves, what our scores do and don't represent, and how to weigh them against your own research.
Every vendor review breaks its score down into four categories, shown as bars on the vendor's individual review page: Delivery Speed (how quickly orders are typically fulfilled, based on reported turnaround times), Customer Support (responsiveness and helpfulness reported by users, especially when something goes wrong), Pricing (how competitive rates are relative to comparable vendors for the same game), and Trust & Security (account-safety track record, payment security, and whether the vendor has a pattern of disputes or complaints). The same four categories are applied consistently across every vendor, regardless of which game they serve.
Our scores are built from publicly available trust signals rather than our own transactions with every vendor. That includes: Trustpilot ratings and review volume, independent third-party trust-scanner assessments, patterns reported across forums, Reddit, and Discord communities, and — where available — independently published test-order reports from other reviewers who did make real purchases. We weigh recent complaint patterns more heavily than older ones, since vendor reliability can genuinely change over time.
Our scores reflect editorial assessment based on that publicly available information, not individually verified customer reviews for every single listing on the site. We're upfront about that distinction on every vendor review page, because we think a directory should be honest about what its ratings actually represent. A high score means a vendor has a consistently positive public track record — it is not a guarantee, and it doesn't replace checking current reviews yourself before an order, especially for anything account-sensitive.
New vendors are added when they have a genuine, verifiable track record for the specific game they're listed under — not just a general reputation across the industry. We've turned away vendors that looked legitimate on the surface but couldn't be confirmed as actually serving a given game, and we've added smaller specialist vendors (alongside the larger marketplaces) when they had a stronger, more specific track record for a niche title than the bigger names did. A small handful of researched names have also been confirmed as fictional or unverifiable and are permanently excluded — we don't relist a rejected vendor just because it resurfaces in a different search.
Where a vendor has a real, documented pattern of problems — account-security complaints, payment disputes, or a "risky" rating from an independent scam-checking tool — we say so directly on that vendor's listing rather than omitting the vendor entirely or pretending the pattern doesn't exist. A vendor with a caution flag can still appear on the site; we'd rather disclose the risk and let you decide than quietly scrub it from the rankings.
